Each year, a large number of organizations come to the College of Charleston to recruit College of Charleston students for career opportunities. The number and type of firms that participate in on-campus recruiting depend heavily on the state of the economy, and tend to be those organizations who have the fiscal resources to travel and send recruiters to college/university campuses. Participation in campus interviews is just one way to connect with employers, and organizations employing persons in your particular career field of interest may not be represented in on-campus recruiting events. Therefore, the Career Center encourages you to utilize a variety of strategies in your search for employment.
