Thank you for your interest in participating in the Spring 2012 Career Fair, which is open to students from the College of Charleston and The Citadel. This information is for general planning purposes only: pre-registration is REQUIRED for organizations to attend this event. Registration will not be open until early December.
To request an invitation to register, please refer to the following information and email Linda Robinson at RobinsonL@cofc.edu. Please include the following information in your email: name of company, your contact information, and types of positions for which you are recruiting.
- We reserve the right to review all requests to participate and consider the fit with student interest.
- Registration is required to reserve a space and is accepted through the specified deadline or when the capacity limit is reached (whichever comes first). Please note: The email invitation does NOT MEAN a space has been reserved for your organization - we REQUIRE organizations to register via our online registration system and pay the registration fee to reserve a space at the fair.
- Invitations (by email) are extended to more than the total number of employers the venue holds, with the invitation list reflecting student interest and our academic programs as much as possible.
- Registration for the career fair is NOT available to Third Party Recruiters or Staffing Agencies. Additionally, we are prohibited from advertising "business opportunities" or self-employment opportunities to our students at the fair. The Citadel and the College of Charleston Career Centers are members of the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) and follow their guidelines: www.naceweb.org/principles
- The person registering for the career fair will receive all career fair correspondence. We request that this person share the information with representatives attending the fair.
- The registration deadline is set for 3 weeks prior to the date of the fair so that logistics and other necessary arrangements and preparations may be made. Please note: We are unable to register organizations after the deadline or on-site the day of the fair. Additionally, our final counts for preparations and vendors will be based upon the number of representatives (1-4) you list as attending as of the registration deadline.
- The Citadel/College of Charleston Career Fair is not open to the public. The Fair is designed for current students (and alumni as appropriate) to meet employers regarding full-time, part-time, internship, and seasonal opportunities.

- Wednesday, February 22nd, doors open to students at noon and close at 3:30 pm
Registration fees (For planning purposes only - DO NOT send payment until you have completed online registration!)
- Standard Registration: $300 (up to 4 recruiters maximum)
- Government/Non-Profit organizations: $125 (up to 4 recruiters maximum)
- Additional charge for electrical access: $25
- Only one table per organization
