IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE CHECK THIS LIST OF REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS (updated weekly). If your organization is not on this list, your organization is not registered for this event. Contact the College of Charleston Career Center at 843-953-5692 should you have questions.
Information for Registered Organizations
- If you have a company/university issued nametag, please bring it with you. We will have blank nametags available if you do not bring your own.
- Your organization's Official Confirmation was emailed to the contact person listed on the registration. Please refer to it for information specific to your registration and payment
- We request that organizations honor the commitment to remain at the Career Fair until 3:30 pm, as many students must attend the fair late in the day due to class schedules
- This event is open to current students and alumni of the College of Charleston and The Citadel ONLY. This event is NOT open to the public.
Shipping Instructions (Before & After the Fair)
- Please do NOT ship packages to the College of Charleston or The Citadel! We are unable to store or transport materials to the Fair.
- Packages or materials should be sent to the Gaillard Auditorium, 77 Calhoun St., Charleston, SC, 29403, with arrival date NO SOONER than Wednesday, February 15, 2012. ALL PACKAGES MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED "FOR COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON CAREER FAIR." The Auditorium is not equipped to store materials longer than one week prior to this event.
- Items should be sent to arrive between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm to ensure receipt
- Organizations must make prior arrangements for return shipments to be picked up by 4:45 pm on February 22nd from the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium, 77 Calhoun St., Charleston, SC 29403. Please bring your own shipping forms! The Auditorium is not equipped to handle your return shipping arrangements.
NOTE: The Gaillard Auditorium is not associated with The College of Charleston or The Citadel. It is a municipal facility rented for this and other events.
Reminders about your Display
- If you requested electrical access ($25 fee) on your registration form, please bring your own extension cords and equipment
- Balloons are not permitted inside the Gaillard Auditorium
- Your display should fit behind or on top of an 8' table
- The College of Charleston is not responsible for employer displays; the College of Charleston will not be responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected mailings of displays.
Information for the Day of the Fair
- Recruiters may begin set up of booths and equipment in the Gaillard Auditorium after 10:00 am. Please check in at our table in the lobby of the Gaillard Auditorium upon arrival.
- A light lunch will be served to recruiters from 11:00 - 12:00 prior to doors being opened to students
- Each organization may send up to 4 representatives MAXIMUM
- Tables will be assigned based on the date and order of registration
- Doors will open to students at noon and close at 3:30 pm
- Your registration fee covers parking for up to two vehicles only

Directions to the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium- 77 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC
From I-26 follow signs to the Meeting Street exit. Take the Meeting Street exit, at the first red light, turn right onto Meeting St. Move into the left lane and continue to the intersection of Meeting and Calhoun St. Turn left onto Calhoun St. The Gaillard Auditorium is located approximately 3 blocks down Calhoun on the right, behind the Charleston County School District Building. From Calhoun St., turn right onto Alexander St. to enter the parking garage.
From Hwy. 17 North, travel across the Ashley River Bridge and take the Lockwood Drive ramp to the Lockwood Drive – South ramp. Merge onto Lockwood Drive/Lockwood Blvd., stay in the left lane and turn left onto the Calhoun Street ramp. Bear to your right which will put you on Calhoun St. Go approximately 1 mile on Calhoun - The Gaillard Auditorium is located on the right side of Calhoun St., behind the Charleston County School District Building.
From Calhoun St., turn right onto Alexander St. to enter the parking garage.
From Hwy. 17 South, travel across the Ravenel Bridge. Take the East Bay St. exit. At the red light, make a left onto East Bay Street. Take East Bay Street south to Calhoun St. Make a right on Calhoun. The Gaillard Auditorium is located on the left side of Calhoun St., behind the Charleston County School District Building. From Calhoun St., turn left onto Alexander St. to enter the parking garage.
Parking
Your registration fee covers parking for up to two vehicles only.
Parking is available in the Municipal Parking Garage adjacent to the Gaillard Auditorium. From Calhoun St., turn onto Alexander St. to enter the parking garage. Take the ticket when you enter when you enter the garage and KEEP IT, you will be issued a parking pass in your Recruiter Packet when you check in at the Career Fair. You will give the parking attendant your ticket and your parking pass when you exit the garage.
If you need to unload materials, please use the Anson St. side of the building. The George St. side may be used for quick drop-off only.
