As a faculty or staff member, you may be interested in collaborating with the Career Center to promote student success.

The mission of the Career Center is to educate, develop and assist students in successfully meeting the challenges of the ever-changing work environment for which they are preparing. This mission is accomplished through a centralized and comprehensive career center serving the entire campus and meeting the career needs of all students from entering freshmen through alumni.

The Career Center advises students and provides resources on the types of planning and preparation necessary to help students meet their personal career goals. This includes information on gaining work related experience, individual career counseling, workshops and seminars, and contact with employers through career fairs, technology and presentations.

The Career Center does not act as an employment agency. We provide students the tools, resources and opportunities to find internships and jobs, but ultimately they are the ones responsible for finding their chosen positions. The hiring decision is dependent upon many extraneous factors not under the control of the Career Center.
