Fall 2014 Career Fairs

Fall Career and Internship Fair, Wednesday, October 29th, 1 – 4 pm
This fair is designed for organizations recruiting business and/or liberal arts majors or for positions open to all majors.

STM (Science, Technology and Math) Career Fair, Thursday, October 30th , 1:30 – 4 pm
Designed for organizations seeking to recruit for technology related positions, specifically for Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Discovery Informatics, Computing in the Arts, Mathematics, Geology and Physics majors.

Graduate & Professional School Fair, Wednesday, November 12th, 1:30-4:00 pm
Students considering going to graduate or professional school, this is the event to learn more about what options are available to you. Students can gather information about programs of interest and the application process. Graduate and undergraduate students of all majors and academic years are welcome.

These events are open to currently enrolled students and alumni of the College of Charleston, they are NOT open to the public.

FEDERAL WORK STUDY INFORMATION

Important information for departments employing Federal Work Study Students!

Your contract should fall within the following dates if you are employing a federal work study student for the 2014-2015 year:

Full Academic Year:  August 9, 2014 through May 10, 2015
Fall 2014:  August 9, 2014 through December 10, 2014
Spring 2015:  January 2, 2015 through May 10, 2015

Students:  You’ve been awarded Federal Work Study , what do you do now?

  1. Make sure you know exactly what Federal Work Study is and how you use it. Click here for more information about Federal Work Study.
  2. Log into MyCharleston and accept your award.
  3. Log onto CisternOnline and start looking and applying for jobs!
