2-1-1 Hotline Training
Training includes a focus on active listening, crisis intervention and a wide range of social issues.  Training is followed by close phone supervision, and volunteers are always backed up by on-call staff and usualy work in pairs.  Training starts January 31st and is held over 2 weekends in February. 2-1-1 Hotline volunteers receive this training and certification for free.  Contact Sonia at 843-566-7186 or 211@tuw.org for more information.
